My parents taught me a different way to look at insects. They are amazing creatures and if we, as humans, paid attention to them instead of killing them with poison, we could gain a treasure trove of information from them. Also, some of them taste quite good. This article isn't about eating them but it can give you a different perspective on the importance of insects.
